Crochet is a process of creating fabric by interlocking loops of yarn, thread, or strand of other materials using a crochet hook. The name is derived from the French term crochet, meaning ‘small hook’. Why not join us and learn a new skill? You will learn how to join crochet motifs or squares and make a variety of items such as blankets, sofa pillow covers and etc.
🔷 All new participants who sign up for both Basic & Beginner Crochet Lessons are entitled a complimentary Starter Kit and are encouraged to practice crochet stitches / swatches after lesson.
In this Beginner Crochet Lesson,
you will learn:
✔ To read a new beginner pattern.
✔ Application of basic crochet stitches.
✔ Hand techniques & coordination.
✔ Gauge & tension consistency.
✔ To make the items with step by step guidance. We encourage participants to bring own crochet motifs or squares and the yarns to use for joining.
However we do provide some materials too and you may bring back your creations. Tools are provided to use only. This is a crochet lesson for beginners who have basic crochet knowledge. Participants from age 16 and above, who are new to crochet are encouraged to attend basic crochet lesson first. Workshop will be conducted in English language by fiber artist/crocheter, Lee Jo Anne from Howsanne.
